TRAINEE CASE STUDY

Natasha Fenton, from Neath, was named Traineeship Learner of the Year (Engagement).

The 17-year-old left school with few qualifications. She was taken on by training provider Pathways Training based at NPTC Group of Colleges who provided the opportunity for Natasha to gain qualifications in Maths and English and she secured a placement at Neath sign printing company, Tint Wizard.

She said: "I really didn’t know what I wanted to do before I left school - the traineeship has helped me to find a job I really love. I now have a permanent job and feel very lucky."

Paul Griffiths, of Tint Wizard, said:

"Natasha is an outstanding case for all that is good with the apprenticeship and traineeship programmes and her family can be very proud of her."
