The Skill Build programme offers opportunities for learners to try out different jobs, up to a maximum of 13 weeks, in order to make an informed choice about their future career. Within this programme we are also able to offer learners, who are not quite ready for an apprenticeship, an opportunity to gain an NVQ Level 1 qualification in a variety of occupational routes along with additional support with literacy and numeracy if required.
