Foundation Modern Apprenticeships

If you are aged 16 and over this programme will offer you work based learning at NVQ Level 2, a range of key skills and a relevant technical certificate.

You will be on placement with an employer for four days per week and attend college for one day. In addition an Assessor will visit you in the work place to assess your skills and competence and help you gather evidence for your NVQ portfolio. You will either receive a training allowance or wage, depending on the vacancy.

Length of Programme:

52 - 104 weeks depending on occupational route - Depending on Occupational Route

Entry Requirements:

• At least 4 GCSEs grade D and E, ideally including English and Maths
• Or an equivalent qualification such as NVQ 1

 

Prospects:

• Continue learning and progress onto a higher level qualification
• Full-time Employment
