If you are aged over 18 years or over and in receipt of Department for Work and Pension allowances (eligibility has to be confirmed by Jobcentre Plus) and would like to follow a career in Building Maintenance, this programmes offers 'hands on' construction skills in Bricklaying, Plastering, Carpentry, Plumbing, Wall Tiling and Painting & Decorating. You will attend a work placement for four days and attend the Training Centre for one day per week.
Additional qualifications in key skills and/or support with literacy and numeracy can be obtained.
