Pathways Training is the work-based learning department of NPTC Group of Colleges, and is one of eight training providers that form Skills Academy Wales. We work with our partner organisations to provide a broad range of industry-recognised qualifications across Mid and South-West Wales.
Pathways Training works with employers to provide ESF-funded workplace training opportunities so that learners can gain industry-recognised qualifications whilst gaining valuable experience in the workplace. Learners earn a wage whilst also benefiting from gaining job specific skills through working with experienced staff; they also receive additional support from our staff to achieve their qualifications.
Employers can also benefit from off-the-job training to equip employees with the knowledge and accreditation specific to the industry which can result in increased productivity. Pathways Training will also support employers with recruitment.

The Apprenticeship and Traineeship Programmes, led by the Welsh Government, are supported by the European Social Fund.
A traineeship is a non-employed status training programme for 16-19 year olds providing working experience that is focused on giving you the skills and experience that employers are looking for.
The Work Ready Programme is suitable if you are 18 and over, unemployed, on benefits and looking for long term employment.
An Apprenticeship is an employment based learning programme providing opportunities for you to gain qualifications, valuable workplace skills and experience.
Pathways Training can support your business in growing fresh new talent and developing the skills needs of your existing workforce through Work-Based Learning and other Bespoke training programmes.
The Construction Training Centre is a purpose bulit facility the provides training opportunitites for the construction industry.
